Plattsburgh knocks off Watertown in a defensive battle to claim EFL title

PLATTSBURGH — It may not have been pretty, but it was enough to get the win.
On a night where it rained for the entirety of four quarters, the Plattsburgh North Stars (8-2, 5-1) were able to battle it out with the Watertown Red and Black (6-3, 5-1) and capture a 6-0 victory to earn the title of 2014 Empire Football League Champions.
