WATERTOWN — Joe Brennan intensely marched up and down the sideline for much of the third quarter as the Red and Black defense struggled to get off the field during Saturday night’s Empire Football League first-round playoff game.
When the Watertown running back took the field a few moments later, he accounted for all 81 yards on the game-clinching scoring drive capped off with a five-yard touchdown run to give the third-seeded Red and Black a 35-12 victory over the No. 6 Plattsburgh North Stars at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
