The first round of the EFL Playoffs concluded this last weekend with the following results:
- Plattsburgh 24, Montreal 0
- Watertown 21, Glens Falls 16
The top two teams, Syracuse and Albany who received byes on October 8th will host the second round of the playoffs on October 15th. The Albany Mallers will host the Plattsburgh North Stars at Lynch Field in Amsterdam, NY while the Syracuse Shock will host the Watertown Red & Black at Sunnycrest Park across from Henninger High School in Syracuse.
On October 22nd, the EFL Championship will be hosted by the highest ranking winner of the October 15th games and will also be broadcast live over the internet.
The Glens Falls vs. Watertown game was broadcast live over the internet and our records show it was actually viewed by over 700 folks from around the world on a combination of Smartphones, Laptop and Desktop Computers.
