PLATTSBURGH — The Tri-City Spartans defeated the Plattsburgh North Stars 27-23 Saturday at Melissa L. Penfield Park in Empire Football League action.
Nokia Boozer threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Valentino Smith, who finished with five receptions for 58 yards, with 16 seconds remaining to give the Spartans the lead for good.
The North Stars (6-4) had taken the lead on a 53-yard touchdown pass from Harry Rascoe to Tre Bucci with 1:09 remaining.
